Vhoruun's Wager: push your luck on the stairs

At each staircase Vhoruun offers a pact: carry a curse down a floor for a growing loot multiplier. Cash out at any stairs, or lose the pot when you die.

The Ember Tyrant is bored, banked and delighted by greed. At the top of each staircase he offers a pact: take one of his curses onto the next floor, and everything you find there counts toward a pot that grows with each Raise.

Curses: 9. Emberfury is +40% foe damage, Iron Hides +35% foe health. Cash out at any staircase; die and the pot feeds his fire. The cash-out chest holds up to 24 items (a guaranteed rare once the pot holds 3).

No wager in the first dungeon, the Training Grounds, the rites or the arena. Leaving the dungeon early forfeits the pot.
